Flooring Installation in Richmond, VA
A new floor is only as good as what is under it and how it meets the walls. We pull up the old flooring, check the subfloor for soft spots and high seams, fix what needs fixing, and then install your new floor with the transitions, baseboard and quarter round finished, not left for later.
We install luxury vinyl plank, engineered hardwood, solid hardwood and laminate in homes across Richmond, Henrico and Chesterfield, from a single bedroom to a whole first floor.

Flooring Installation questions from Richmond homeowners
How much does flooring installation cost in Richmond, VA?
It depends on the material, square footage, the condition of the subfloor, how much old flooring has to come out and how many transitions and stairs are involved. We measure on site and give you a written, itemized estimate so you can see labor, materials and prep as separate lines.
Can you install LVP over my existing floor?
Sometimes. Floating LVP can go over flat, sound vinyl or tile, but not over carpet, and not over floors with high seams or soft spots. We check the existing floor during the estimate and tell you whether it can stay or needs to come up.
How long does a flooring install take?
Most single rooms take a day or two. A whole floor of a typical house usually takes several days, plus any time needed for subfloor repairs or for hardwood to acclimate. Your estimate includes a schedule so you know which rooms will be out of use and when.
Do you move furniture and remove the old flooring?
Removal and haul-away of the old flooring is included when it is on your estimate. We can move standard furniture; pianos, safes and full china cabinets need a specialty mover.
